I always prefer fast,simple to cook food that requires minimal cooking/strain.I am planning to share some simple but quick recipes which I have tried out for Arshi with you all .Today I am going to share a very simple , but delicious recipe which I tried recently.Guess what, I made Garlic bread and soup.
Garlic bread(Microwave method):
Ingredients:
Finely chopped and crushed garlilc pieces,
coriander leaves
salt
butter
Method:
Finely chop garlic, coriander leaves and add butter and a pinch of salt to it.Mix the paste well.Apply liberally over the bread.Microwave for about 1 minute .Touch and feel the bread.If it is soft and not crisp, put it back for 5 sec.Repeat it for a few times till you find the bread crisp enough.You should be able to break it into pieces.Make sure you don't burn in the insides of the bread.
Broccoli soup:
Ingredients:
Broccoli
onion
garlic
cheese
salt
pepper
Method:
Pour some oil in a pan,put chopped onions, garlic and toss for few minutes.later add broccoli in it and make sure to immerse this in water.Let the broccoli cook well for about 5-6 minutes.Later, blend all together in a blender/mixer and you will get a thick paste.Pour back this paste in the pan and add cheese and salt,pepper to your taste and let it boil for a few minutes.Switch off the gas.Now your yummy creamy Broccoli soup is ready.
Serve it with garlic bread.Kids will love it.
