OMG, this  is  a really long over due  post.I have been not blogging properly.....True.I want to blog, but am just lazy to blog it immediately.Sometimes, I just forget what I intent to write as well if  I blog   at  a  relatively longer period of   time.Last Dec Holidays, there was Christmas feel all over Singapore.

Before you start reading this post let me tell you-It's a super duper long post and I didn't  intend to write it this long till I actually finished it.I think I would have sat some 2-3 sittings for writing and uploading pictures.

Now off to Marina Barrage, a project that transformed and redefined Singapore's water story.I loved this place as it is a family picnic spot.We can fly kites atop.We can learn education stuff too about Singapore's  water .

Marina Barrage's main function....It's a reservoir.

The Marina Barrage is a dam built across the 350-metre wide Marina Channel to keep out seawater, forming Singapore's first reservoir in the city and 15th reservoir.

Inside the gallery:

There is  also a  small wet playground there in Marina Barrage where your little ones can have fun .

We headed to Garden By The Bay which is  very near to Marina Barrage the same day.

After a long and  tiring day also strolled our way along Marina Bay and  there:

At the Shoppes

We also went to Sentosa for  some fun.

Orchard Road:

Every year around Christmas time Orchard Road is lit up with beautiful street lights and malls are all decorated.

Some other malls around Singapore had  beautiful Christmas decos.

At AMK Hub watching Willy Wonka in action .Willy Wonka is a  character(villan) from Roald Dahl's famous book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It's also Arshi's favourite book she has  read so far.

The kids also enjoyed movie time there watching Lego movie.

And time to play too with toy veggies in a  toy kitchen.....

We also went to Pula Ubin in a  ferry.Though it was raining, we had  a nice time there.

Walking through Pula Ubin , one gets to feel walking in the past as there are real Kampongs(village) there.

I also took Arshi to Envision Gallery located at Scotts Road  .It was a very educational trip and  even I learnt about Singapore's environment.

Sometimes we just don't notice things around us clearly and appreciate it only when others take note of  it.One such place is this shop house in Little India which I have seen in many blogs.I have been around to this place almost every week and don't  know  how I missed this spot.Located along Buffalo Road right behind a vegetable shop, this colorful shop house is  a photo spot for many bloggers and tourists.I really love the vibrant colours of the building.Next time, maybe should take full view of the building as well as  front view.

I have tried to compile almost all interesting activities we did during the last Dec Holidays. If you like reading this post and  have not been to any places I have mentioned above, do take time to visit them at your own leisure time.

Have a blessed week ahead.
