Happy Teacher's day and our gift ideas

Tommorow Singapore celebrates teachers day.We made some teacher's day gift for Arshi's teacher.We made a paper bag,bookmark and a personalised card for each teacher.We also put few chocolates and 2 red pens in the bag and sealed it with a clip.If you see the pictures ,you may get some ideas too.

These are the diy things we made.For bookmarks we used cardboards from used items and then cut it and wrap it with gift wrap-pink for female teachers and blue for male teachers and finally tie the upper portion with golden string.I used the golden strings found in pompoms for this.We can also use satin ribbons.Later you can write any inspirational quotes on the bookmark.Arshi wrote a quote about teachers in the bookmark.As far as the card,the front page was kept simple and the next page was a personalised message and the next page -a simple drawing that she could think abt her teacher.For eg,her music teacher she drew musical notes.

What goes inside each bag?-a peek inside

the  gift bag for each teacher-we used newspaper to make paper bags.I saw youtube video and Arshi's friend Lashana's gift ideas for inspiration .Later I used colored chart paper and  cut out individual alphabets from newspaper in different colors and fonts and arranged them in the chartpaper so as to form the teacher's name.No need to paste the alphabets in any particular order as we can paste them randomly too.Doesn't this look cute.

Arshi made card to many of her teachers.But we didn't have time to include all her teachers.

Though this looks simple,ARSHI took the whole  of yesterday's evening for this.I too helped her in her craft work.

Teacher's day is celebrated on Sep 5 in India.It gets reminded of my teachers.

Though it took some time and dedication  we were finally very happy to have personalised our gifts to the teachers who are moulding our kids everyday.Even Arshi felt happy to prepare gift bag for her teachers.
