2020 saw great changes we live .Mask ,sanitizer, social distancing etc are now our new normal. We cannot take going out freely as granted for especially for those having kids .Arshi has finished her sec 2 and next year will get into sec 3 and has already chosen her subject combination of 3 pure sciences and geography as elective subject .Hope she is able to come well .Here this subject combination is considered as a heavy subject combination but she wanted to try this. Hope god gives her mental and physical strength to cope and sail through this .so far all her teachers were caring and gems.She can get her doubts clarified with them.I am happy she chose a nearby sec school and she has grown up to be more mature and independent and Temasek Secondary school has given her many opportunities to groom herself and climb up the ladder.As covid is still there nothing much exciting is happening.Her Tamil department conducted few competitions and glad to share she got first prize for fancy dress competition in her class and she dressed up as vera mangai velu nachiyar .She dressed up herself in school.She learnt to tie up saree that too kosuvam style for this occasion and with the help of her friends dressed up.She also got 2 nd prize for her class for Essay writing .Apart fron this there were no events or competitions she could take part .Almost till end of the school year her extra curriculum stuff were conducted online .But they are slowly opening up and next year they will be hopefully having physical sessions. But that would mean more time spent in school and she maybe drained after school.this year as she was home early that was an advantage for her to rest more and focus more on her studies .Her year end results were good and infact she had improved in few aspects .Ever since she has entered her sec school she has been studying independently and gets her doubts from hubby that too rarely .She gets help from her teachers and friends and i am not helping with her studies anymore .
CK has started school this year and he enjoys it very much .as it is covid time he doesn't get his homework file and won't tell what he learns and so basically after school hours its always fun time for him.I didnt pressurize him to do things .Hope next year he will study a bit organized. So far he will write few Alphabets and numbers and I can see mirror images of few and will try to correct him.He loves drawing but these few days doesn't draw much.He loves to play with his toy vehicles and very naughty .
Most of the time we preferred staying home. We went to few places this dec holidays .

Kids and ourself have got used to live on this new scenario and hope situation gets better next year .
We missed out our India trip this year. There were some changes in our personal lives too.We had to take some big decisions we had been postponing all these years and hopefully everything turns good in the long run.This year seemed to be rollercoaster year for many .I had health issues and still ongoing and trying my best to manage with home remedies and care .Hopefully next year brings good health and prospects to all.
